隨著Labor Day Long Weekend 結束，夏天也已經非正式結束。但這不代表紐約的活動就慢慢變少。之前有跟朋友們提到有朋友要跟NYDeTour合作，發展一個Event-Oriented App，現在已經正式上線，可以從Apple的App Store下載了！名字就叫：LocalDetour.

這個app是一位年輕工程師努力的在很短時間完成，簡單描述一下功能：
＊同時有map view和list view可以清楚知道未來一個星期到十天左右在紐約地區的活動。
＊當有新活動加進來，你會收到app通知(notification)，馬上掌握最新訊息。
＊每個活動頁面上有"Save to Calendar"功能鍵，讓你不會忘記或錯過任何你有興趣的活動。
＊分享功能鍵(Share)可以讓你的朋友也知道該活動，方便揪團。
歡迎使用iPhone的朋友們前往下載。使用Android的朋友，不好意思，可能還要再一段時間。
當然，朋友們下載LocalDetour開始使用後，如果發現任何問題，或是有任何建議都歡迎在這裡留言給我。
這個LocalDetour app宗旨是分享當地社區一些有趣的活動，希望讓在紐約市的朋友們生活上多點樂趣，其實也是來紐約旅行認識紐約客生活的一個好工具，絕對比只參觀景點有意思多了。
目前NYDeTour的角色是提供LocalDetour相關活動訊息，兩者算是獨立，但是是合作的關係。因為我覺得年輕人有衝勁來做這樣的app應該是要支持鼓勵。以後或許LocalDetour的概念還可以延伸到其他城市。

Our iOS app is ready to be downloaded in App Store now! Most of the events here will be featured in the app, and on top of that, you will also get:
Simple listview with just upcoming events.
Map view to see events near you.
Previous event and current venue photos so you know what to expect.
"Save to calendar" so you will never miss an event.
Get notified when new events are been added.
